Post-Vacation Vagueness

I’m a week back into my regular routine after having come back from sunny Puerto Vallarta, Mexico…and I’m definitely still not back mentally. How do some people manage to transition so smoothly from zero back to hero?

Welcome to Little Miss List!

Typical Sunday morning grocery list

Welcome to the beginning of Little Miss List! I’m excited to share my life and my passions with you, and to connect with all my fellow list lovers! For years, I’ve wanted to start a lifestyle blog focused mostly around the office antics of a young professional, but when I researched the blogosphere, I found that the market was already quite saturated with some awesome blogs —Corporette, Ms Career Girl, MizHattan, The Working Wardrobe, and Working Girl Blog to name but a few. I didn’t have the first clue as to how I would differentiate myself, and offer something to the world that actually helped people. Two days ago, as I was researching what to pack for a 14-day trip to Europe, it hit me — create a site that offers compelling lists for all those list-makers out there!

Writing lists has been a hobby of mine since I was a child. I literally remember being 8 years-old and writing a “to clean” list for my weekend chores, and the visceral feeling of satisfaction as I crossed that last task off the list. Throughout high school my friends would make fun of my lists, and tell me I would write one for anything (they were absolutely right). In college, I made friends with the most disorganized girl in the world, Tal Flanchraych, and I taught her the ways of list-making. When she started her first job out of college as a Project Manager, she thanked me profusely, and told me I would be proud of her.

As we embark upon this journey together, here is a sneak peek of the topics of my first few posts:

I’m excited to hear your feedback!

xoxo,
